Hello, my name is Jim Lingenfelter and welcome to J. Lingenfelter Photography.

Photography has been a hobby of mine for well over twenty years now.  Four years ago a suggestion was made that I should try working in the model photography sphere.  From that point on, I have developed a keen interest in the field.  How could you not be interested in working and shooting with a lively group of people!

I enjoy model photography because I get to interact with a lot of intriguing people.  The interaction and creativity that is generated during a session never ceases to amaze me.  Another joy I get out of working with the models is watching their reactions as they see what we accomplished together.  As I have told many models, what we do is a two way street, their ideas, styles, and personality are just as important to the photograph as the lighting and angle of the shot.  I hope that I have been able to capture their distinct appeal in the picture and I think I have.  I have even gotten some of my work published by MMA Sports and Undisputed.
